Happy Holidays!

As 2023 comes to a close, the OWCN Management Team would like to thank our amazing Network of responders, friends, and colleagues for another great year.

Some OWCN highlights from 2023 include:

  • Supported our first two Wildlife Health Youth Fellows
  • Welcomed Frankie Lill as the new Wildlife Planning Specialist
  • Responded to five spills 
  • Coordinated the avian botulism response with A LOT of Network support
  • Hosted the first Hazing & Deterrence Summit with our colleagues from CDFW-OSPR and Aiuka, Brazil
  • Offered our first Oiled Wildlife Veterinary Training

We could not have accomplished all of this without you, our amazing community. As we approach the holiday season, the Management Team will be taking some time off to rest and connect with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
