Report a Green-Banded Pelican

In the wake of Refugio oil spill, the OWCN assisted with the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of 46 oiled birds. Rehabilitated brown pelicans from this spill were marked with green plastic bands (with white numbers) to better identify birds specifically affected by this spill. The OWCN is collecting this information to aid in evaluating the long-term success of the spill response effort.
